kind words from past clients

“Every time I spoke with Brielle, I felt more empowered going into the birthing process. Her education and kindness meant so much to me, as giving birth in a foreign country has brought on fear & doubt within myself many times. My due date came & went and my birth ended in an unexpected ‘emergency’ C-section—it wasn’t what we had in mind but I have to say I’m beyond grateful for the knowledge & awareness I had around C-section possibilities thanks to Brielle, as I truly feel it made a world of difference in what could have been traumatic.”

“It was immensely helpful taking Brielle’s perinatal education course—she had so much information that I didn’t even know I didn’t know!”

“Being that this was my first pregnancy, I was unsure of what to expect. Brielle not only informed me of many things I hadn’t been aware of, but also stood by & supported me 100% without judgement through every decision I made. I think my actual labor process stands out the most when I think back on why I’m so grateful Brielle was with me. My water broke at midnight, but I wanted to stay home as long as possible. What I imagined was going to be a very quiet, controlled, serious situation turned out to be more like three good friends hanging out in my living room, listening to music and laughing between contractions for 6 hours. I think even the nurses were pleasantly surprised at how lighthearted & happy we all were. I could not have asked for a better birthing experience & I know it would have been different without Brielle’s presence. She was valuable not only to me, but also to my husband. She never stepped on his toes if he had a real grasp on things, but when he started to fade she would seamlessly step in without missing a beat! She was by my side through all 22 hours of labor, helped me push for more than an hour, and stayed with me those first precious hours while I got to know my son.

“Brielle was the best thing for me after my son was born. I thought I was prepared to continue normal activities when he was born, but was totally terrified. As my postpartum doula, Brielle was supportive, listened and gave me the trust and energy I needed when I scared. She helped me become confident and helped me understand all of my emotions after giving birth. I was terrified to do anything without my baby and, little by little with baby steps, I had the courage to go out and do things for myself without constantly worrying about him. Knowing that Brielle was there to help guide me in this motherhood journey meant the world to me.

Being a first time mom, Brielle listened to all of my questions and helped guide me into being the best I could for myself and my baby. I learned to trust and build a village of people to support me in this lifelong journey. Thank you Brielle for listening when I needed to talk and cry. Thank you for being the support I needed at the beginning to make me the best mom I am today.”

“Motherhood is one of the most beautiful but at the same time most challenging phases in women's lives and having someone as professional and kind-hearted as Brielle supporting you will make the difference, especially if you don't have your network support or friends nearby, for me her help made a big difference, she supported me a lot in moments of great desperation.”
